Shady Creek Family Camp And Conference Center is in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, next to the Tahoe National Forest and about 1 1/2 hours from Sacramento.

Nearest airport is Sacramento airport (SMF) 1.5 hrs

We're centrally located between the middle and south forks of the beautiful Yuba River, and we're 25 minutes away from fishing and water skiing on Bullard's Bar Reservoir.

Up Highway 49 is Downieville, the unofficial state capital of mountain biking. Nevada City and its cozy shopping, theaters and restaurants is 15 minutes away. Lake Tahoe is just 2 hours and 20 minutes up the highway, and historic Malakoff Diggins State Park is 25 minutes up the road from our front gate.

There's golf in Grass Valley, hiking across ridges, and enough hidden swimming holes and activities to keep everyone satisfied!
